    Default Photobucket Alternative?

I've been using photobucket for a number of years now, to post photos on (other) message boards.
They've decided to 'go commercial' by cordially inviting me to pay for third-party hosting. Pay?

This seems to be a growing trend, offering a free service to sucker in a number of people and then
trying to charge at short or no notice. This isn't a trend I want to reward.

    Any suggestions/recommendations for a free photo-hosting site?

I haven't asked my accountant or Andy W.'s Mum.... yet...

Flickr would be my first choice, instagram is vaguely useful, and depending on your ISP you may have a few hundred MB with them

If you are an Amazon prime member I believe they have a complimentary photo hosting service.

I actually pay for smugmug, which is a good service but expensive.

I use the Public folder within dropbox which is free
“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”
