    Car Stereo's - Mirrorlink

Anyone got a car stereo that supports the Mirrorlink / Drivelink feature?

It allows you to display and use your Androids display on a car stereos LCD screen (with touchscreen too)

Just wonder what peoples experience is with it
Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!

I have something similar, a Pioneer Appradio 2 that does similar, not by those protocols I don't think, more or less mirrors my iPhone (certain apps) on a 7" touch screen in the dash, does Android as well.

The apps are designed to run via the Appradio app on iPhone at least to display correctly etc, but the fecking thing is slow, numerous safety shiite like read this before using that, allow this, allow that, take a few mins to get it going before you can drive off.

Having said that, for long journeys its fine, iPhone satnav, iTunes, phone itself (built in Parrot) all work, I find the touchscreen quite sluggish, but that might be cos of my iPhone 4, have iPhone 5S now, need more cables though to use it, hope it will be faster then.

I get annoyed at the Sat Nav woman telling me to 'Join the M - Six Hundred and Twenty-One' I mean, who says that?

At one time I was considering the Parrot Asteroid Smart, only 6.2 screen, more phone independent, can be a 3G access point in car, but its too expensive, smaller screen, i think big screen is useful for hitting buttons while driving even the .8" makes a difference I reckon.

I've got used to the foibles of the Appradio2 now, but it's still got too many annoyances to be me wow over it...
