    Murray deserves knighthood

So says the Prime Minister. Worthy chap that Murray is, it is far too soon to be even thinking about that.

So I started wondering - why do politicians always make c***s of themselves when they start opining about sport? (Kate Hooey excepted.)

It's a consequence of their tendency to make c***s of themselves when they start opening their mouths to speak.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Not forgetting of course the fact that they are c***s.

            A good point well made.

More a desire to say something that will get the public on side... something everyone can agree with.

I reckon it's as good or bad a reason as most other knighthoods, not really bothered.

I expect it is about the Scottish independence referendum.

Gotta say as fantastic as his achievement is I don't think it is worth a knighthood. Winning something he entered to win anyway isn't over and above, it's what he was in the competition to try and do. He should be celebrated I do agree. I just think a knighthood is a bit too much too soon and a knee jerk reaction to a great win. Just doesn't sit right with me but as already been said, a lot more have been given out for a hell of a lot less.

                    thought sporting success=OBE/MBE?

Knighthood is for living legends who do a lot of work for Charidy.
