    Big Gigs

Planning my 2018 gigging calendar & I was wondering how much truth there is in this - Fleetwood Mac to Reform for Tour.

Would certainly make up for Mike & the Mechanics not including any UK dates on their 2018 tour; disappointing as they apparently play the whole of Invisible Touch on this tour.

Anyone got any big concerts planned?

Although I'm 56 I've no interested in old bands, no matter how good they were once.

I like new young boy bands in tight trousers that show everything, nothing left to the imagination, bulges everywhere...

Having said that Splean are on in Dublin soon, "Zamer' trollyebus, v trollyebusnam parkye....."

Isn't Fleetwood Mac the "one band they'd put on Glastonbury 2018" for, discussed a few months ago?

If so, maybe it's not all Rumours after all.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

          Perhaps it's Little Lies?

              Got a few booked...

              Metallica on 28th In Manchester.
Not a music event, but going to see Henning Wehn on 11th Nov.
Faster Pusseycat on 21st Nov in Manchester - they are the opening support act out of 3 bands at the academy in Manchester and I'm going with the 2 people I went with to see them open for Guns and Roses in 1987.
              Stone Sour on 30th Nov
              Roger Waters next year
Either me or the wife will have to go to billy joel next year as we have a ticket to take my son
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

              I preferred version 1!

I thought Invisible Touch was a Genesis album? I didn't realise Mike Rutherford was allowed to use all the content with the Mechanics

Is there anything to stop anyone getting on a stage and playing what they want?

IIRC Rutherford co-wrote all the songs on the LP & there's no acrimony between him & the rest of the band so I can't see any objections, contractual or otherwise.
