    Another Curve card post

    Hi,

Has anyone paid their VAT or Corp tax via Curve card?

    Thanks

Aren't rates for paying by corporate credit cards up at like 2.2%? Would the curve be classed as personal one even though it passes through to you corporate one? Rates for personal ones around 0.3%?

    EDIT :
    Ahh

The Curve card figure is high because this is classified as a business card and is not subject to the caps on interchange fees imposed by the EU.

HMRC cuts credit card acceptance fee
Curve say that dependent on the merchant they may see it as a debit card, hence the question. Interesting to see other cards have a lower rate - thanks for the link

if you run your own business and are paying company expenses, the Billhop fee is fully tax deductible

I'm not sure that it makes economic sense, no matter whether it's tax deductible or not.

Yeah, you'd need the kind of cashback rate card providers just don't do any more! Although combining it with stoozing and investment could be interesting....
