Nothing to do with IT contractors working via their own Ltd Co.

Well with no electable opposition, the Teresa May can pretty much do as she pleases and still win the next election. Interesting (worrying) times.

No, it shouldn't be - but could be ammo for the public sector proposals - taxing as employees without the benefits goes against what TM appears to believe in.

She is probably aware that lots of folk voted out of the EU because of the lack of employment rights.

Funny thing is it is the care industry and local government are going to be amongst the "industries" who suffer most from this.

Oh the Mayor London is doing a review on foreign ownership of housing in the capital and the problem has spread out of London e.g. Slough, Manchester, Birmingham so if Corbyn picks up on his findings then she will enforce something.

Only if it you take a literal interpretation of self-employment. I expect it will take a broader view, and this alludes to that broader view:

              https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...rs-flexibility

There are two ends to this spectrum, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some discussion of the FLC and other silly ideas that originate in Labour thinktanks.

It will be another review in a long line of such reviews. They typically find the long grass. However, May has a reputation for following up. To be fair, one end of the spectrum does need some attention and intervention. We, OTOH, need to be left alone for 5 mins, so that we can keep filling those gov't coffers.

It's a shame that she's not of the calibre of Mrs T.

Mrs T didn't get formidable until around the Falklands.
