Tiling Window Manager for 4K monitors?

I have a nice shiny new 43" 4K monitor (okay, it's a TV but with proper 60Hz inputs, so close enough). To go with my existing quad 24" setup.

However, that's a lot of screens and I'm trying to decide on something to split the 4K screen up into boxes (granted Windows 10 does this after a fashion) but more importantly ensure applications remember where I left them. It seems a tad hit and miss at the moment - open Chrome Dev tools and they can appear in amusing locations.

I've looked at Aquasnap, Maxto, Actual Multiple Monitors and SplitView but haven't settled on one. Does anyone have a recommendation for a solution that will let me setup a desktop with the various applications arranged sensibly and that will ensure they reopen in the same place afterwards too?

WinSplit Revolution is my tiling window manager of choice, and it has that feature.

The project is inactive at present (MaxTo even bought the WinSplit Revolution domain name), but it is really good.
