    First Timer Question

Hi - I'm considering accepting a first contractor role but also have a permanent offer to consider.

I know If I choose the contractor option I will need to consider IR35 and get an accountant but does anyone have an idea as to roughly how much I would get after tax deductions on £1000 a week?

    Thanks B

Depends whether 24 month rule kicks in, your expenses, how long the contract will last, how much bench time you are going to suffer when you can't get your second contract etc.

You can't compare permie jobs against the daily rate of one gig and make a decision. They are different beasts.
