    Supervision Direction and Control

    Hi,

I have been advised that if I move to a limited company structure from my existing umbrella solution then I can avoid being caught under SDC and can continue to claim expenses. How far is this true as I can't relevant information on the same?

Any thoughts on this will be much appreciated.

Are you subject to supervision, direction and control?

If you operate as a limited company, the 'test' becomes IR35, of which supervision, direction and control is one aspect. If your working practices are outside IR35, then you can continue to claim T&S. Read up on IR35 - there's some links on the right --->
