Against my better judgement, I've finally succumbed.

And my suspicions have been confirmed - the bottom line is pure narcissism.

Yes, it would be interesting to see what people I've lost contact with are up to but it all seems to be - look how gorgeous my kids are, here's one of me with my groovy friends, here's the latest right-on cause I'm backing.

    And that's it.

I thought it would be used more like a diary and people would actually use some WORDS to talk about what they're up to but it seems my old friends have all joined the TL;DR generation.

Just out of interest, what is your age group? i.e. How old are you lad?

My Facebook feed can be summarised like this:

              Look at my dog!
              Look at my kids!
              Look at my dinner!
              Look at the clouds!
Look at this "funny" picture I found somewhere else on Facebook!

Still, it passes 10 minutes here and there I suppose. I managed to reconnect with a few people I'd known from school/uni days and the problem is we've grown so far apart there's very little I want to say to them. Certainly haven't gotten as far as arranging any reunions or anything like that.

to creating a page from scratch, or going back to one you previously created in a moment of madness?

Haven't checked at my Facebook page for nigh on seven years, although that doesn't stop them sending me almost daily spam about some friends wanting to contact me
