    Proof as a contractor

    Hi,

My First contract going to end next week and want to understand that does company provide any experience /relieving letter when contract gets ended ? How new company / agency verify our past experience with different clients ? is it just by providing two references only to agencies ?

Thanks for sharing your experience on it.

    No proof.

And don't be conned into giving references to agencies.

welcome to the contracting world. As the client you worked for is not your employer, they wouldn't give you any experience /relieving letter etc that you would expect when u leave a permie job. Agencies will generally ask for some references from your client co. I tell them don't have client's consent to disclose their details, but I can provide the reference of my previous agency.

I'd be more concerned with verifying your mastery of the English language to be honest!

Agencies will usually contact you via telephone and ask you a few simple questions to verify your experiance. If you sound genuine and meet their requirements, then they will ask you to attend an interview with the client.

At the interview, the client will ask you more question which you should try to answer to the best of your ability. If you are able to convince the client of your credentials, they will usually offer you a contract.

            Good luck and best regards,

                Appalling, simply appalling.

What chance have decent contractors got when presented with bulltulip like this?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
