From memory of previous threads I believe the general consensus is get warmed up, put some decent trainers on and run away as fast as you can.

if it's a contract gig stay away they treat them badly and they would be always on a look out to replace you with offshore team.

I've worked with them continuously for the past 4 years across 3 different clients, one of whom being TCS themselves.

Working with them can be anything from challenging to joyful. Working for them was, on reflection, utterly bewildering and totally unproductive.

in my experience in working with them they like to offshore as much work as possible, often to inexperienced junior beings, which then shows in the quality and the style of the work being delivered.

An Indian friend of mine considers them to be quite professional and on the ball - but only compared to the numpties he has to deal with... I bought him a drink out of sympathy.

I am contracting through them for the last 2 years at a large bank.

No hassles, decent rates, no rate cutting threats, payment on schedule, open transparent communication, willingness to use contractors (unlike other vendors at this bank). So far, so good.
