No idea what the temperature this morning was, but today we are promised 3° to 7°, and tomorrow much the same as you: 10° to 13°

Cheese and wine for lunch on the patio after doing a bit of leaf blowing. Now watching 3 (I think) red kites circling. The garden is alive with birds.

2.7 this morning when I went out with The Dog (tw) for a walk. Now 9.3 in the shade/12.1 in the sun.

I had the same but added mushrooms and avocado because I'm a health freak (or more truthfully they needed to be eaten).

Just been out to check the tyre pressures on the Toyota, as the people at tyre places are always a bit lackadaisical about getting them right when fitting a new set. Sure enough, all were two or three psi below what they should be except the offside rear, a whopping 5psi low

Bit chilly to be standing out there waiting for the inflator to do its thing, but all sorted now

Which means I can start into the gritty business of using environments in Chef to ensure my local testing VMs use a local database server, while the live deployment to AWS EC2 uses an RDS server that I'm paying for but nothing is yet pointing at

5.6c according to our weather station and it’s time for the evening dog walk.

Yet again the staff in Tesco did not request ID when I bought wine. I will just have to keep buying more until they do.

Actually it's about time they built in facial recognition on the self service till.
