Car in for a service today. Over a year since my lottery win!

    Comment

Morning all Clear blue skies and sunshine here, lovely dog walk early.
It appears the project managers have fallen asleep so I've sent them a couple of wake up calls. In the name of increasing profits (not reducing losses as they are making a fortune) they have got rid of most of the developers and one of the other contractors. The end client is starting to feel the pain of these cuts, and the PMs are nowhere to be seen.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

        Petrol station lunch day

I was five hundredths of a litre over guessing the amount of petrol the car wanted, which isn’t too bad

That's how it's supposed to work.

Now it's become unseasonably warm they've turned the heating back on.

Yesterday, when you could have kept a side of beef in here, the heating was off.

But at least the endless drizzle has departed hence for a day or two.

As I'm skip filling at the moment, I've actually broken into a mild sweat.

They don't pay me enough for this toil.

I noticed that, when we emerged, blinking, from the subterranean depths of the recording studio this afternoon, - it was fine once we were ensconsed in the pub garden though
