It's actually been quite a productive couple of weeks at ClientCo in that I reckon I'll end up deleting a couple of hundred lines of code, having completely reworked something that I originally wrote about a year or more ago, at a time when they were still a bit unclear on the requirements

Mind you, there are times when I miss working in XSLT, in which your programs must be well-formed and valid XML, so my notion of what constitutes a "reasonable language" may be a bit weird
