Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

      Whatever.

One of the first years had one.

      Very irritating.

No, just copious facial hair. He hasn't even got a waxed moustache, or at least not on Tuesdays around 6pm, which is the only day and time I have to go on

I particularly like the way he spends his time picking up litter.

Goes back at least to Round the Horne which introduced Polari to the masses, though I'm not sure said masses quite realised what was going on at the time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polari#In_popular_culture

Following on from yesterday's desk rearrangement shenanigans, I have finally got around to hauling the 34" 16:9 monitor (which had been serving as a TV until I got a TV) across the room and connecting it up to the 27" 5K iMac. The amount of screen real estate I now have is ridiculous

As long as you don't mention "Bob" you should be ok.

I deal with idiot BAs, Scrum Masters and PMs of all nationalities. In fact I would say the only intelligent people, as a nationality, I work with are Polish. I don't know what they do with the stupid ones....

                  Ribs and chips for tea

No sign of any rain here, and it's still very close. Apparently there's a slight chance we may get some overnight, which usually turns out to mean in the morning just as I set off for ClientCo, and then following me east

                    Got my Dot to work.

Shouted at it a bit then got bored.

This evening's entertainment was "My Man Godfrey" with William Powell and Carole Lombard.

My Man Godfrey (1936) - IMDb

                      It was rather good.

Followed by S14 Ep19 of NCIS. Which had rather too much of the increasingly irritating Abby.
