Yes, for some reason. Every other birthday (apart from first one) we have gone to a soft play place in Accrington, but this year it's under new owners and isn't as good as it has been.
So, MrsF decided that we'd have the party at home. I still cannot, for the life of me, understand why!!!

Thanks - I think I'll rely on the "this isn't good for my blood pressure" defence and retreat to the study. That's on the third floor, and the party will be on the first floor so I should be OK....

We usually take ours out to a suitable party venue - soft play, laser quest, snowdome, etc. It's been a while since we've had a party at home, so we'd obviously forgotten the trauma of previous occasions when we arranged this one. It's rapidly coming back to us though...

I tried to persuade MrsF to go somewhere else with them, but she just kept saying that there would only be 10 of them or so, so it won't be too bad
