Default Are you being told that your loan isn't taxable??

I'm contracting in the NHS and have been bombarded with Umbrellas offering employee loans, I've only just signed up but haven't been paid and am now reading up as much as possible and believe a new law is coming into effect at the end of September which makes it a criminal offence. I'm now very worried any advice welcome!

You've already got problems unless you bail out of your dodgy umbrella immediately (and did the 1st month pay). Read the threads on this very forum.

I suggest you have a look through this part of the forum then do as Cojak suggests.

It should take you 48 hours max.

Oh and be very rude to the umbrella if necessary to get away from them. If you need any help just post and someone will give you advice on what to say for them to drop you.

Either works for NHS and has got big problem, or works for HMRC's Behavioural Insights Team.
