    Boomed - London

    3 mths in Paddington, rolling.

Was elated until I saw the price of accomodation. Are you people nuts?
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

for the "boomed" part of this.

Personally I would be posting a "Doomed" thread if I got a gig in London

Nope could do London cheaply if I wanted to (could stay with family)

After the first month I would however be bored and start going to the theatre every night and that adds up quickly...
merely at clientco for the entertainment

There are some budget hotel offerings in the big smoke, Easyhotel or Tune Hotels averages 50 quid a night, small rooms but clean, only done the odd night or 2 staying over but find that accomodation quite decent value.

Fantastic city to work in, as long as your rate allows you to enjoy it...

I miss London. Wouldn't mind somewhere like Leeds though.

I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

                    Congrats

Could Monday to Friday lets, Rentals and Lodgers | SpareRoom.co.uk be the answer to overpriced (and in my case non-smoking) accommodation woes?

Especially as it would mean you could leave a few bits and bobs in your room while you were back home at weekends?

edit: I pay £100 per week for a nice room in Cambridge, although it would probably be double that in London
