    Amy Winehouse dead...

Not sure how much of a shock it is though... Proabably on quite a few "Dead Pool" lists..

BBC News - Amy Winehouse found dead, aged 27

    (shoulder shrug)

Should have gone to rehab after all.

Such a shame but - as mentioned previously - not a surprise

She was in the office one day doing an interview for the evening show when I was at the radio studios in Bristol around five years ago. The production team said she was actually a very nice person, showing none of the arrogance or sense of entitlement that are endemic in the popular music industry.

Terribly sad news for someone so young. The latest in a long line of flawed geniuses. However, not that much of a surprise, which just makes it all the sadder.

            RIP

Yes, all the sadder because it is not a surprise. Perhaps even a touch of surprise that it isn't a surprise. I might be looping again.

                Flawed genius?

Personally I thought she was crap. Bottom drawer talent. I never did understand why anyone thought she had talent.

Just another dead druggy I'm afraid.

I hate to agree with MF but, "Flawed Genius"?!

In so much as Tracy Emin is a flawed genius, perhaps.

A shame to go so young, and RIP, but hardly a surprise.
