Well the major reason now is Cameron is turning them into New LabourI remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?Comment

I don't remember Mellor trying to sort out a Visa for the bird he shagged (although BlindGit did, allegedly) and what happened to Aitken after he was caught lying about a dodgy hotel bill? A spell in one of Her Majesty's finest one-star hotels (and quite rightly). What happened to Mandeson after he was caught lying about a dodgy mortgage (borrowed from someone he was supposed to be investigating) and then a second time about flogging some passports to some Indian businessman of highly dubious repute? A first class ticket on the Gravy Train to Brussels. His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment
