During the Raj anyone even hinting at such a thing would have been left alone with a bottle of whisky and a loaded revolver!

We should make then watch Carry on up the Khyber to learn how to behave with dignity and decorum.

Mind you, we would probably rounded up some natives and had them shot in retaliation.
