Yes his political views are extreme but I can't think he could possibly have done more to change his public image on "I'm looking to get back on TV". He showed massive massive strength of character and even managed to get on-side with the other D-listers, who had to live with him.
Think it was spiteful to vote him off 1st after he stepped up to take the challenges.

It's more a case of not making friends rather than making enemies, since people voted for who to keep (I believe). I'm agnostic on him, though can't claim to be a fan.
At least I can still pretend to be interested at watching, while slavering all over Dani Bher, I know she's a bit on the rough side, but she's older and more mature.
