Default I'm American at heart

I'm American at heart. I don't like UK anymore. We've become a rubbish part of a socialist/wannabe commie EU. Justice down the drain, morality become relative (dilution of Biblical teaching much to blame) etc. taxes too high, property too expensive, people too unfriendly it goes on and on. And weather seems to be getting worse too.

Is this a 'trolling for beginners' tutorial?

no I'm serious, UK has become a dump. Some of us have been awake to witness this decline. Read Peter hitchens sometime and it will all start to make sense.

As someone who has a LOT of contact with Americans and speak to them everyday - I have no wish to become one!

I too hate what England (and each of the other countries in the UK equally) has become. I am technically based abroad, but I spend far too much of my time in the UK because of personal reasons. However, I have never considered not being English/British, and certainly not American!

Americans are not stupid, as the BBC and Guardian readers would have us think.

I've worked there a lot over the years and they are always completely astonished that you don't want to be an American too.
