You must have experience of Web Standards, accessibility, cross browser and cross platform testing (Mac/PC). Attention to detail and produce clean, valid xhtml code with clear separation between markup and presentation layers. We code to the Yahoo! browser Matrix, so your work will need to be tested in IE 6 & 7, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Experience with print and mobile stylesheets is also beneficial. You will be coding up designs supplied as PSDs or PDFs, so experience working in a design agency environment or from supplied designs is preferred. You must be clean, well presented, quick at coding and able to focus on tasks as we have tight deadlines to work to. Must have commercial experience.
Required for: 2-3 weeks
Start date: 21st July (TBC)

Move to Leicester.
Fastest train to the big smoke is 1:04. Leaves hourly.
They're also planning to build a 35 min rail link to St. Pancrass.

I found this, a little old unfortunately, collated from ONS stats, including job classifications. Interesting for those of you who thought you were "professionals":
Quote:
Managers
2003 average hourly pay rates: £18.06
Professionals
eg: accountants, architects, business analysts, civil engineers, doctors, psychologists, solicitors, teachers
2003 average hourly pay rates: £17.52
Associate professional staff
eg: computer programmers, graphic designers, HR officers, information officers, lab technicians, nurses, photographers, physiotherapists, quantity surveyors, youth workers
2003 average hourly pay rates: £13.49

I'm not a lowly "professional", I'm a businessman and managing director of a successful consultancy company.

Happy living in the Midlands - good quality of life and lovely countryside - plenty of work. Still I would love to win the lottery and move to Spain.
