Just to let you know we’ve launched a new membership area:

Contractor Alliance is a network open to UK IT contractors only. The idea is to support you in business by enabling contractors to cross-refer business: source subbies, team mates and client introductions. We’re are also offering many discounted and privileged deals such as 20% off PI, IR35 insurance and liability, discounted contract reviews & debt collection to name a few.
It’s £25 for the year for a limited period, you can join to take advantage of the deals without participating in the network (by hiding your profile) but the more contractors use the network – and open up their contact books – the more successful the network will be. Contractors are always in full control of their profile however. You can form Alliances, or team mates, with each members’ consent. You name only those clients you are generally happy to forward other members’ CVs on to, and then judge each CV on a case by case basis. It’s then up to you to negotiate a finders fee with your client contact. Plenty more besides, including an 'ask the expert' forum..
