That is a really stupid question as they don't trade in Sterling

Think he must have skipped the bit about "the root cause of the airline's financial problems was terror attacks in Egypt and Tunisia, as well as the collapse of the market in Turkey."

Which any Bremoaner will tell you is as a direct result of Brexit.

Seemed to be a combination of factors but the weak pound certainly had some effect:

"Blair Nimmo, from administrator KPMG, said its collapse was a result of "depressed prices" in the short haul travel market, alongside increased fuel costs and handling charges as a result of a weak pound."

Are you Brexiters still denying that the vote has had consequences such as a weak pound, increasing inflation, a sharp fall in growth so that we are now bottom of the G7 (in a period of generally healthy world growth) and a fall In London house prices which usually presages a general recession.

The Brexit direction of travel is clear to all who haven't buried their heads in the sand.
                Hard Brexit now!

                  RyanAir next.

The end of Chavs travelling abroad is nearly over. Thank God.....

And even though Easyjet and Ryanair (until recent events) continue to flourish. The reason is they have better business models than Monarch, and not just because of the Brexit fallout.
