So in agreement. The bit you quoted is where he then says that you cannot make a prediction on one person based on their gender from the 'average' which also agrees with the original memo?
    What's your point?
I'm pretty sure there must be some biological differences between men and women, but not enough to make a difference in this context.

The latter is what the psychologist said.

To put it another way for those lucky enough never to have done studies involving humans - if you were doing a study on what makes 10,000KM plus runners successful would you choose, as your subject group, people who run or everyone including couch potatoes?

That would depend on how you were intending to use the data. If you wanted to tar 'everyone' with the same brush (as in this case) then the couch potatoes should be included. If you wanted to tar just runners then it's ok to go with them only.

How many 10,000 km runners are there?

Women and men have a lot of differences but these differences were used for centuries to put women behind men. The education, society and some media have a lot of influence to "forge" a mind of a child.

In the past, some scientist defended that the child was a seed of a man and woman the incubator, other stupid stories that it's not important to mention. He based his memo in some studies. Are these studies correct or we need more 2 centuries to discover that the today studies are wrong?

There is a gap gender between countries, the US has a huge gap compared to the rest of the developed countries. He is American where 20% of the population believe that chocolate milk came from the brown cows...

So because 20% of the population blah blah.

Now means all the population are stupid?

Isn't that the opposite of the point you were trying to make?

Feck knows I just made up a random example.

When they do these "research" studies they take a group of people - normally 18-25 year old university students as that's what they have close at hand - and use them as their subjects.

They do state the group they use, the sample size and point out their biases but that's never reported in pop culture.

I suppose in my made up study you could use everyone who runs the British 10KM about 8,000 people, or London Marathon about 50,000 people which has a more diverse group of runners.
