Anyone who couldn't guess that is silly.

    Even Norway was saying that.

It's the only sensible way to exit the EU.

I don't get it, most of the brexiteers agree that there will be short term pain, but expect long term gain from Brexit. If that's the case, where is the problem in 2-3 years transitional deal? It will hardly impact long term gains and will minimize the short term pain. Yes the people have spoken in the referendum that they want out - and they will get out, what's the rush?

4 months after the A50, there is like 0 progress on Brexit, where does the confidence that we can complete all the negotiations in the next 20 months comes from? F**k me, the government can't do a Datacenter migration project completed in twice that time.

Because the closet and open Remainers in Parliament don't intend it to be only a 2 or 3 year deal. It's a desperate foot in the door attempt to buy time in making a permanent settlement, deceitfully called transitional, and water down Brexit to practically nothing.

Surely if they attempt to do that, come next GE they will be voted out of Parliament, after all the majority of the public voted for Brexit...

Oh, wait, a lot of the 52% didn't vote for hard Brexit, meaning that what we see now is Democracy in action. If the electorate is unhappy with the way their MP acts, it's in their power to sign a petition for the MP recall and trigger by-election. apparently it doesn't work like that...

The PM forcing MPs to vote against their constituencies desires is undemocratic. Separation of powers etc.

What is happening is clear, the minority of the brexiteers that are fro hard brexit want to force it down the throat of the whole Nation at all cost, democracy be damned.

Lets face it the problems are insurmountable. Today we saw the ensuing chaos what was from a minimal change to EU law at the airports. You can imagine on what a massive scale the chaos a disorganised Brexit will cause. The minister leading the negotiations has been described by the former head of the Leave campaign as thick and lazy, and every day a new massive problem pops up, whether that is planes which won't be able to fly, lorries being stuck at Folkstone or Nuclear power stations being unable to function, and there in front of the MP's is a simple off the shelf solution, the EEA.

              Ryanair's doomsday scenario

It's a no brainer and it is going to happen.

Did we declare we were leaving the EEA when we triggered A50?

TM says it will be a full and hard Brexit.

Staying in the EEA means it's not a hard Brexit at all.
