The accident had nothing to do with Brexit.

Seats fail, and designs aren't perfect, but they have saved thousands of lives operating in extreme conditions.

Who mentioned Brexit? You did. Honestly some people. And no they don't save thousands of lives. Hundreds? Eh no... 10 or 20.. maybe. Exaggeration and then some.

Of course the designs are perfect. Why would you design something to fail? Maintaining it is a different matter, which is something that was known to the manufacturer in this case.

Bet you they tried to brush that under the carpet as quickly as possible.

See the problem with Brexit is skills are fleeing the UK. Brain drain is well under way.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

            Good find.

Martin Baker are the goliath's of this very niche industry.

            It's world class, and British.

                Change of subject alert!

I thought we were talking aero engineering.

Bentley - overpriced VWs IMHO. Christ I hope they haven't installed any Bosch cheat ware...

Personally if I had the money for a new one I would get something like a F Pace instead. And for an older one, in the £30k area, an supercharged XK8.

Maybe they should add ejector seats to cars...

EU to dictate regulations even with a Hard Brexit

...at the end of the day the EU will be dictating regulations to the UK whether they want it or not.

The only way the UK can truly be free is to trash half of its exports.

                    I'm alright Jack
