You do realise that if some one fails or struggles and all you ever do is bail them out they will never learn?

Simple chucking money at the problem and hoping it goes away is incredible destructive.

Exactly why Scotland should vote for independence.

This is the end game of the 2008 credit crunch. Osborne took your savings from you , by inflating away the debt. He hammered you on BTLs. And now you are being finished off because your careers will be limited and your costs are about to go up.

The decimation of the middle class is almost complete. And you're too polite to revolt!

If Scotland want independence then they should have a vote - they did - not enough people wanted independence for Scotland.

Maybe we should have another one - however the problem is to properly 'become' independent takes a lot of time and so if you hold a referendum every year or so then you will never do anything because before you have been able to leave - a referendum has been had and everyone has decided to stay.

Maybe you should hold one every 25 years or so every generation gets a chance to vote?

You will laugh until Jack the Lad with his huge toolbox moves in next to you with half a million in sterling because of house price inflation. It's already happening in parts of Australia. Plumbers with a couple of million in property due to house price inflation moving into affluent neighbourhoods next door to the middle class accountants and solicitors who are struggling to maintain their inflated salaries, huge mortgages and private school fees.

You worked hard all your life to achieve this level and suddenly Jack the Lad the knuckle dragging plumber who has spent most of his life in the pub- is suddenly at your level! This is because everyone else is moving forward except the middle class? That's the way it looks from their perspective. But that's relativity. Really, the middle class are moving backwards and Jack's level is the new baseline working class.

Better to have money to chuck around than vote for independence and have none. Perhaps I should say a currency of any value.
