Show me a graph and I'll shut up

What is needed is direct action, not graphs.

Your comfort levels are too high- you're not feeling enough pain. You will do when people who paid pennies for terraced houses in poor areas end up with more net wealth than you due to inflation working for them and against you!

The country is being levelled. The lower middle class will become working class again. The real value of things will become clear because the country will become efficient. And the fat is in the middle class.

If you have fook all - what can be taken away from you?

And as we have been in the EU since 1973 and these areas have always remained poor then how can you say being in the EU has made a difference to them?

What ever the EU was was not working for these areas - so do we

              a) Carry on doing what we have aways done and hope things magically change?
              b) Get off our arses and make the change happen?

Two sorts of people in this world.

That would be why the likes of Wales are asking for their handouts to remain the same after we leave, because the EU obviously does nothing for them.

Ask yourself, what's stopped the UK government from helping those regions over the past 40 years?

Did you copy & paste that from the 2020 GE Tory draft manifesto?

The EU is not all bad, it's also not all good. The same is true of Brexit.

Every vested interest is waving a 'what about me' flag.

Truth is, we will have a tough and hard next few years. From this crucible will come a leaner, fighting fit UK.

My advice to Welsh farmers. Stop trying to make marginally arable land work, and re-shape your business model.

                    Improvise Adapt and Overcome.

Indeed. However the UK is going to change to a strong export economy in a few years, maybe 30. You just can't change people who spend their day 'we're call you about the accident you may of had' to 'engineering the latest technology', the skills are just not there. And I reckon the demand will diminish too as employers reposition themselves.
