Now there is a phrase you don't often encounter.
Just listening to QT in the background and some bint is kicking off about how all the "wealth" in Wales ends up in the south.

Perfectly true though. All the money in Wales is along the Newport-Cardiff-Swansea region. The rest is mostly ignored and seriously under funded.

Put it this way, the quick way from South Wales to North Wales is back into England and up the M5. Going west, the dualled A46 stops just after Carmarthen, after that you're on back roads which, when you think that West Pembrokeshire has the world's third best natural harbour (after Sydney and Amsterdam), is something of a waste.

But yes - perfectly true. Gogs and Taffs don't really get on. I think half the problem is that mid-wales is sort of in the way - and there's f**k all there.

It'd be wasted in the Valleys anyway, there's not much in the way of skills in general and everyone commutes into Cardiff hence the train service absolute tulip

I think it is funny that the North Wales people don't know who to hate more. Those in London or those in Cardiff.....
