    Yes.

    The company also offers option of a pension scheme that matched pound for pound up to 10% of earnings. Ain't we nice...

      There is a website to check if a car is taxed, then another to report an untaxed vehicle is on the road. I reported one parked in my street 3 weeks ago, you give them postcode, colour, make and number plate. It's still there now

            Philip Hammond must act fast to avoid a repeat of the pasty tax row | Coffee House

            This is the wrong ground for the government to fight on; and they’ll end up losing if they remain camped out here. It is rather ironic that a Budget which promises to clamp down on misleading special offers that take advantage of consumers has ended up with the government telling voters to check the small print of its manifesto promises.

              IPSE email today says this....

              Chancellor Philip Hammond’s Spring Budget announced a 2p increase to self-employed NICs. The rise from nine to 11 per cent is deeply unfair and undermines and damages our flexible labour market.

              The Chancellor began his budget talking about record employment – much of which is driven by record numbers of self-employed, incidentally - before announcing these punitive measures which will have a damaging impact on the self-employed workforce.

              The Budget gave help to SMEs with their business rates and supplemented this at the at the expense of the self-employed who will now have to pay more.

              The NICs increase will affect any sole trader earning over £16,250. These changes aren’t isolated to sole traders, however. Whether you work as a sole trader or through a limited company, you’re likely to face a tax hike.

              <snip> Mr Hammond also announced that LTD company’s dividend tax allowance would be reduced to £2,000 from £5,000.

              <snip>

              The self-employed person takes on a level of risk that the employee does not and this volatility should be accounted for in tax rates.
              So IPSE believe the difference should be reflected in the tax system.

                      The government know of all workers that self-employed and limited company directors are least likely to put up any kind of protest.

                      I think it's time we organised a very strong protest that sends the government a very clear message. I'm thinking we all organise a 'sign-up as jobless' week and screw with their official unemployment rate.
