The SNP truly are the antithesis of democracy. They don't like the result of their own referendum so they continue to push against the will of the Scottish people. They don't like the result of the EU referendum so they continue to push against the will of the Uk. Utter tulipgibbons.

I love the way idiots like you count the people who weren't entitled to vote, perhaps because they were still in prams, or couldn't be bothered to vote, because they didn't care. You always assume they would have voted Remnant. Idiot.

Yes, you're right, the people who didn't care (for the country or the future) voted to exit.

            No. They just didn't vote.

There is no excuse. I had a postal vote. It worked for me.

If you don't vote for whatever reason then your opinion isn't registered. Neither side can claim the vote so you go on those who did vote.

And >33m is a pretty representative sample size.

46.5M eligible voters. 17.5M voted to leave. 29M either voted to stay or didn't vote. People ineligible to vote really cannot be included in any argument. The assumption for those that vote, is that the proportions would have been the same for those who did, so it really doesn't tell you anything.

However, a win of less than 1.5M out of 46.5M isn't compelling and Farage agreed that, as he said if it as 52-48 in favour of staying, he would continue to campaign to leave.

You can say the same for pretty well any election or referendum. If you do not vote you forfeit any rights to the outcome of an election. But in your twisted little binary world that is probably hard for you to understand.

I presumed Farage's comment was for more political reasons. It basically forced Cameron to state:

"once in a generation, once in a lifetime" and "referendums not Neverendums"
