Reverse the above and now say it like this England would want something to happen however it would need to get passed through a majority Scottish Government. This isn’t about hatred, this is about Scotland being able to do what is best for Scotland, not the UK.

Another thing, if we are such a burden to the UK as suggested, why does the UK want to keep Scotland?
conversely when Scotland was Labour we had to put up with you tipping the Labour vote gving us Bliar & Bruin.

which things have the UK stopped you doing?

If Scotland could be hived off as a going concern then it might be possible to give them more freedom. They have a Parliament & some control over finance use it & prove you are ready to rule rather than whinging.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

When did this happen then ??

'64, Autumn '74 and 2010 are the only times in recent history where Scottish votes have changed the UK result.

So, you actually talk tulipe. So why should your opinions be taken as valid by anyone when you can't even get a simple and easily verifiable fact correct?

That's what happens when you're running a deficit, it's the same for Wales and no doubt Northern Ireland all 3 spend more than they contribute to the economy.

So it's actually the Welsh and Northern Irish who are canny, and not the Scots.

Given that Scotland make up 11% of the population of the UK they have swayed the vote on more the 1/10 occasions. However, this is all academic. We are a United Kingdom and opperate as such.

I watch the BBC weather from time to time, Scotland not even on the map.

But Scotland did not influence the result of any of the Labour Blair/Brown terms as Vetran suggested.

Now you're suggesting that people spouting tulipe as fact doesn't really matter. Are you a Bob Project Manager ??

But they have influenced 3 since 1950. Moreover, in the last twenty years tell me when Scotland voted majority Labour and when there was a Labour government? So saying Scotland doesn't get the government it wants or have an influence isn't true.
