Yes, thank God for the Guardian's objectivity.

Are you implying that European agencies can remain in London after Brexit?
We all know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even for you such bone-headedness is astonishing.

Just when the thread needs a heavyweight intellectual stimulus, along comes CW. So we will have to continue without one.
I was making the point that the Grauniad has an "agenda" where Brexit is concerned and as a consequence, most of what it prints is simply negative propaganda to appease the dreary Bremainer community.
I would suggest you try thinking for yourself if I believed that were at all possible, but you seem forever destined to wander witlessly from one article to the next looking for succour for having misread the nation's mood.

It really is almost beyond parody the desperate lengths that the cabal of miserablist bremainers on here will go to in their pursuit of anything negative to do with the direction that the country has opted to move in.
Particularly when so few of them actually live and work here and contribute any taxes into the pot, and when their efforts generally result in little else than regurgitating the latest bitter dross and spin that the Grauniad can cobble together.
The paper that is the journalistic equivalent of Eeyore's medicine cabinet when it comes to anything remotely optimistic, and which boasts the likes of Owen Jones and Polly Toynbee amongst it's array of intellectuals.
Keep it coming fellas, it is comedy gold.

Well the service sector is shrugging off any silly Brexit funk, looking at July PMI figures:

Spain 54.1 (below expectations but still growing nicely)
                Italy 52.0 (slightly above expectations)

                Full steam ahead!

Edit: France’s service sector returned to growth in July, with a better than expected performance up from (50.5 from 49.9 in June)!

UK economy shrinks at fastest rate since financial crisis

Ahead of Thursday’s Bank of England meeting, the UK economy has been confirmed as slowing at its fastest rate since the financial crisis.

The final reading of the UK services PMI for July came in at 47.4, down from 52.3 in June and in line with the flash reading two weeks ago.

The composite index of services and manufacturing was lower than the initial estimate, down from 51.9 in June to 47.3 and marking the lowest level since April 2009. The flash estimate was 47.7.
This is fantastic news - the additional capacity in the economy will make us more competitive!

                    Edit:

The fall in the UK composite index from 51.9 to 47.3 in July was the biggest one month drop in the 20 year history of the survey.
Short sharp shock will do us the world of good!

                    Further Edit:

For our friends who rightfully prefer the unbiased Telegraph, the great news is confirmed:

                    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/...-faces-higher/

Breaking: UK economy contracts at fastest rate since 2009

July's PMI for the services sector was unchanged from the 'flash' estimate of 47.4 released on July 22, down from 52.3 in June and the lowest since March 2009.
The all-sector PMI was slightly weaker than first estimated, at 47.3 -- the lowest since April 2009 -- due to a poor showing for Tuesday's construction PMI. The fall from 51.9 in June was the biggest since the survey started in 1998.
