Scotland after Brexit - 4 threads into one

And no thanks for the crumbs from the table.

We in Scotland voted to remain in the EU while you voted out. Indyref2 will happen at some point and support for independence has never been higher. The brakes are off any restraints to the most right wing Tory government in living memory, expect much more pain than austerity has delivered so far.

Suck up the pain as we leave austerity for prosperity.

So, you leave the UK and stop getting massive subsidies from England. Where will the replacement money come from? From the EU? Where will the EU's money come from once England's contribution stops?

Oh, I know you'll just use the oil money. Erm...

You want to adopt the Euro presumably? Not sure that the socialist policies of Scottish leaders will be too compatible with German-imposed restrictions in the Eurozone. There are other factors which may cool Scottish enthusiasm - if England is out Scotland may get higher levels of immigration from Eastern Europe.

I trust Sturgeon will really look at all the options and consequences before rushing into it. Otherwise it could be Greece 2 in a few years time.

Those subsides are to support your public sector, many of which operate in Scotland.
