I got a Facebook account a few years back -- mainly to look at some photos my brother had taken.

at last case 50% accounts were just 'fake' created by people to give 'likes' for business pages

half of the rest have been set up for someone's dog, cat, goldfish

pretty much everything else is skank's doing duck face photo's

I just think it is a thing that has had it's day.......

The nice thing about FB is you can choose not to be friends with annoying people. Or you can add them to your "acquaintances" list so you won't see all their guff. Or you can select not to see anything shared from specific pages - so if your friend is fine but keeps sharing pictures of mangled puppies from RSPCA you can block that.

It really all comes down to the quality of friends you have

Businesses can game the system by buying likes, but Facebook are supposed to be down with that kind of thing, don't know if they really are but they claim to be
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Yeah - local pub had a facebook page...

then some people decided to post nasty things on it so they had to take it down...

I think anyone who uses twitter or facebook for business purposes is on a hiding to nothing...

                      No updates since last time.

Surely you're not suggesting that I continue to "Like" what she posts on FB plus add witty and charming comments? Surely I should be letting things cool down?
