Oh, and here's Peter Hitchens in today's Mail saying exactly what I've just said:

We are told that the Blair creature ‘has told allies’ that he ‘believes’ the Tories will still be in power after the Election (even he can’t believe they will actually win a majority, a mathematical absurdity).

What this actually means is that Anthony Blair wants his own party to lose because he rightly regards David Cameron, not Ed Miliband, as his true heir and successor.

Whatever he wants, you shouldn’t want.
Perhaps they should give me a column

      That's a very confusing quote.

I don't agree with Peter's analysis that because TB said he believes something will happen then that's what he wants to happen, but if we accept that to be true, is he suggesting Mail readers should vote Labour?

Remember, the System will get the government it wants. That will be another 5 years of Cameron - with or without Clegg. It's guaranteed - Just watch the media ramp up the spin in the coming months.

Ed is the Union's puppet. We all know it. Thus the feeblness. The lapdog, who agrees to massive make-work projects like HS2.

But politics these days seems to be all about taking care of your cronies and companies that threaten to move abroad.

That is damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Blair is probably wrong (again) because a tory majority is unlikely.

But Ed will probably fail to get one, because even Blair can see he is useless.

Johann Lamont quits: Ed Miliband warned of 'catastrophic' damage to Labour - Telegraph

Looking pretty bad for red Ed. The fact that they are contemplating putting that irredeemable twit, Brown, back into leader position shows how desperate they are - are they planning on inducing collective amnesia in the electorate? He had his chance and blew it. No more, please.

Naturally, Blair refuses to take ownership of the comments. Whatever. It is clear Milliband is in a hopeless position.

Au contraire. A Scottish Labour Peer on the radio yesterday told us that only Milliband can save the economy.

Really on all the major areas Labour and Cons are pretty equal. But Miliband will bugger everything, so don't want him.
Why on earth do you not vote Tory?

Brown won't take it as he considers himself to be a world leader on the big stage. He saved the world from the banking crisis, doncha know?

The worst thing they could do (from their point of view) is give the leadership to an MP instead of an MSP as it will be seen that Westminster is still pulling the strings in Scotland. It's a poisoned chalice because Labour are about to be wiped out in the GE in 2015 and Scottish elections in 2016.

Independence would have been a chance for Scottish Labour to come to power again but they got into bed with the hated Tories so have lost the working class vote.
