Consultation on reforming the regulatory framework for employment agencies

The government is consulting on the deregulation of employment agencies and employment businesses. This may repeal the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations.

They are wondering if it is more appropriate for the sector and marketplace to decide the rules for themselves and whether individual enforcement would be more effective than the current government enforcement regime.

Given their blatant abuse of the opt out of the Agency Conduct Regulations and shafting of contractors and clients alike, I think they need more regulation not less.

It seems that the Tories would like to repeal the laws an allow the agencies to be a law unto themselves. Yeah, that's going to make things better. NOT! They really don't get it do they.

We, as individuals, aren't stuffing money into party coffers.

Doesn't matter if he is because it will back fire on him if everyone who has had difficulty with an agency fills it in.
