Default company secretary

am being a retard, but can't remember if a company can have more than one appointed secretary?

Under the current act you don't even need a company secretary.

Why would you want more than one anyway?

You can also pay dividends to shareholders without having a 5k restriction and without the need for any official role in the company, so the question remains; why would you want to?
