Default Has the .net market tanked?

Been looking for two weeks now, and not one interview, which is rare for me over the last 3 years..

Lots of calls/fishing from agents but no interviews...

I know we are entering the silly season, but how are others finding it?

Fellow 'tractor got one within a week of leaving here. What kind of .net and where are you looking?

I finish up next week. Webby C# enterprise or otherwise. But since we're into Jul-Aug silly season Im not even going to bother putting my CV on until September now, just enjoy a pimp-free month in the sun (hopefully)

In your hunt, have you seen many VB.NET jobs out there, or do they all tend to be C#? I can code in both, but am much faster in VB (crazy decision by the company I work for). I guess its more knowing your way around the framework and the best way to utilize it?

The silly season is in full swing, it's taken me some time to get feedback from clients who are usually punctual. Not this time. You name it absenteeism, holiday, chap who needs to authorise etc is not in until Fri... etc etc...

Don't give up.
