Most of the jobs these days are outsourced. There'll be a call centre opening near you soon so you'll save your air fare.

Interested to learn how you get an HSMP Visa without a job to come to? IT skills aren't currently on the list of shortages.

From the Home Office web site

The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme is now closed to new applicants. If you wish to work in the United Kingdom and are currently outside the United Kingdom or are here under a different immigration category, you should now apply as a highly skilled worker (Tier 1 General) under the points-based system.

Hmmmm..

Yes. Is it easy? No. Especially for non-EU.

If somebody posts question, its pityable thing to notice when people bounce back in their satire uniforms showing that great attitude label and utmost disrespect especially if OP sounds like he is a potential immigrant to UK. No matter how many days old you are here, I think its time to remove that chip on your shoulder, fellas ?

Oh yes, now coming back to the question

Yes, it is indeed possible to get one job or MANY jobs before entering to any country. From the job offer(s), you could apply for a visa( whatever be that in your case wrt UK) and I believe that would only strengthen your case of approval.
And my personal advice is, get that job offer in hand get the visa sorted and then come over. Last but not least, Welcome, and when you read other posts thats appears to be 'humourous' from their "smileys", keep the music louder and just scroll on !!

First the bad news. There are very strict rules about visas, work permits and immigration to the UK that you must follow, and very severe penalties for not following them.

Now the good news. None of the above is enforced in any way whatsoever in the UK, so do as you please and don't worry about it!
