      Evidence that you’ve delivered is important.
      Almost as important is a contracted agreement as to what that evidence should be. Timesheets is one type of evidence.

      I wouldn’t be worried about not using Timesheets, but only if you have a list of deliverables in a Statement of Work.
      You could also put timesheets in a statement of work (or schedule) so you don’t have to alter the contract.

        Thanks for the feedback, we are negotiating the statement of work at the moment and exactly what the scope and milestones of that statement of work is.
