    IPSE Manifesto

IPSE seem to be stepping up in terms of lobbying. A manifesto and vans with signs.

It may not necessarily be successful but kudos to trying something more/new/different pre Taylor.

Nice to see your subscription money is being well spent.

I'm sure the ruling party will be quaking in their boots knowing that IPSE have got a van with a sign on the side of it riding around the streets.

Contracting is like plumbing. You're your own boss until you walk into someone's house and they tell you to take your shoes off.

Nicely put. HMRC should never have been making policy - only implementing it.

At least there is some visibility now,as opposed to the supposed 'key meetings in private rooms with keep people in gov'

There has also been a Guardian (I know...) Interview.

It's a start, go out fighting and all that

Nice to see they started 10 years too late. Somebody at IPSE made a few bob from this I suspect.

Agreed , this is my last yr with IPSE - and I expect Taylor to shaft us and IPSE

Regardless of why the change in approach (ie if one presumes how few will be members if they no longer need insurance post a private sector rollout), I still think it's better than doing the same old stuff/nothing.

I think this shows the direction IPSE are headed in... they want to be seen by their members to be doing stuff, rather than actually focusing on achieving anything.
