    Contract IR35 Review

Who do you folk go with for you IR35 reviews? QDos, IPSE?

I thought my IPSE Plus membership would cover it but no.

SJD say it holds a clause for substitution but nothing regarding control of method of work or mutuality of obligation so I want a second opinion.

Is it really a 5-day turnaround with QDos?

QDOS - the review is free with my insurances but I pay approx £30 for 1 day turnaround

Always get it reviewed by a specialist rather than your accountant.

You've been on the forums this long and not seen this asked before or thought to do a search?

That's 5 days max. Often much less but you gonna have to expect the worst. Always been pretty quick for me.

If I buy professional indemnity insurance, I get a free review?

Did you get the full review?

I think it's changed now. It's just with TLC35 isn't it? And with that it's not a full review of WP etc.

You'd have to pay for the full monty.

Stuff has changed so best ring them in the morning.

If they find an issue and I get said issue resolved by agent, do I get a second review for free? I'll research more tomorrow but I'm on a phone!

Yes. They should do it on your behalf depending what product you get.

The Qdos Work Practices Questionaire is pretty detailed. Whom should I get to help out answering those?

Surely this should be the end client saying what they will tolerate me doing (time off without asking, wfh, etc) and then based on that, I can be deemed in or out of IR35?

Here's a suggestion. Speak to QDOS in the morning.
