Hi I have been cleared for SC last month and waiting on a role, going forward does anyone have any agencies they can recommend that specialise with contractors that have clearance?

    thanks

How can you get clearance whilst not already in a role?

      Have a look on securityclearedjobs.

From memory, Parity and Badenoch & Clarke used to do SC work. So would any of the consultancies like Steria, Capita etc.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. But Gandhi never had to deal with HMRC

Although you are looking at roles that are within the Public Sector or are mainly manpower replacement for PS positions. So perhaps not quite as desirable as they once were...

Also, you don't need clearance to apply for a job of course, although obviously it might help, but the clearance goes with the role so depending on what criteria are applied, yours may not be transferable. The Police don't take any notice of MOD clearance for example, up to SC (DV is a different animal).

So chase cleared roles by all means and try to hang on to it, but it is not necessarily a personal ticket to a closed market (which isn't that closed: some 40% of roles need some level of clearance.)
