Mine is a somewhat dull My Name Consulting Ltd

I didn't really care too much at the time and I actually thought trying too hard to look big might be bad, but I've ended up with a kind of plan B that involves proper non contracting B2B and now I'm less sure. But I'm stuck with it and have a pretty logo so ho hum.

Depends when the company was dissolved.

It's better to use a name not listed.

I've always liked the sound of :

              Hackett & Leggett Limited

Not sure how many contracts I'd get though

I was advised by my accountant not to go with a plain "My Name Computer Services Ltd" but I can't remember the reason why now. So my colleagues and I spent half an hour browsing the companies house website trying different ideas until we came up with one that sounded pretty good. It's a little on the long side but the domain was available and I'm pretty happy with it.

Actually I might email my accountant and ask about setting up a "trading as" name, for example if my company is called "Database Designer Extraordinaire Limited" I want to be able to put "DDE Ltd" on the paperwork and contracts. I'm guessing the "trading as" name has to be available as well?
