"France is no longer France anyway, it's overrun by North African migrants, who are changing the culture, causing a rise in terror related incidents. which due to EU policies and open boarders French authorities are powerless to stop suspects absconding or letting in more potential terrorists.

we don't want any of that over here, seal up the channel tunnel and weld the door shut"

that's what a Little Englander would say
No, I had it right first time.

"Little Englander" is a pejorative term for British nationalists, English nationalists, or English people who are described as xenophobic or overly nationalistic and are accused of being "ignorant" and "boorish".

Funnily enough, I've been a Tory voter all my life. Except for this year, when I bit down hard and voted Labour; my local MP is one of the few that defied the whip and voted against Article 50 in Parliament.

No mention of ignorance or Boorishness, just that they oppose expansion of the Empire and they judge other nations actions in light of the effect they have on Britain.

sounds sensible to me, its not as if the French or Germans or any others of the 27 are particularly altruistic.
